Jérôme Vanderschaeghe - Trailrunning
Jérôme (29) is a Walloon trail runner and is one of the best trail runners in Belgium. He is on the Trakks Elite Team and also with Adidas Terrex and has been running at the top of the trail for several years with several Belgian wins. He prefers organic food and he wants food without refined sugar.
Who is Jerome?
A sportsman at heart. He used to do soccer, cycling and tennis. But he wanted to discover new sports ... And that's how he got into trail running. He finds the obstacles and distances a great challenge. First he started in regional trails and later more and more abroad.
In 2016 he had the opportunity to climb the summit of Pierra Menta. This exceptional race of 70 km with 7000 altimeters opened his eyes to this sport. He greatly appreciated the specific course and the overwhelming nature. For him, this is both a physical and mental challenge!
